Claire has been running Designer Lashes for over a decade, collecting awards, certificates, expanding her knowledge and spending her time perfecting the art of eyelash extensions.
Constantly leading the industry, the Designer Lashes team is one of the few salons in the entirety of New Zealand that works with LED cured adhesive, ensuring the longest possible lasting extensions, without damage to the natural lashes.
Claire also runs the Designer Lashes store, which won the 2024 supplier of the year award at the Lash Industry Awards.
All the products sold in the store are cherry picked from around the world, for their quality, with products being made exclusively for the Designer Lashes store.
Technicians who use our range regularly win awards when entering competitions, so you can rest assured, the Designer Lashes range will produce only the best results. ​​​​
With many years in the beauty industry, Jody was the original owner of Star beauty salon (with Alex, pictured) for many years.
She has travelled internationally to broadcast the Lash Wars conference and has an extensive youtube following in which she posts beauty tutorials and ASMR videos.
Jody specialises in lash lifts, extension application and is the exclusive user of Pharo sugaring wax in wellington.
She has created a relaxing, calming space within our salon for clients who prefer their treatments to be a retreat from the outside world, and a time they can switch off.

Boasting over 20 years in the beauty industry, Jane is an absolute expert in her field.
Having worked alongside a plastic surgeon, Jane has the extensive knowledge in everything skin, and will customise a plan to reveal your best skin yet.
She works only with top tier products including the Aspect Dr range, and is constantly upskilling to ensure she has the most up to date knowledge in the field.
She is an utmost professional who will listen to your concerns and implement the best treatment routine and products ideally suited to your skin, to ensure you leave the salon feeling satisfied, refreshed, and looking absolutely radiant.
Jena is an internationally trained acupuncturist that is deeply passionate about assisting individuals with a diverse range of concerns, encompassing stress management, emotional well-being, musculoskeletal injuries and pain management, pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care, digestive and respiratory issues, fatigue, sleep difficulties, as well as women's health and menstrual-related challenges.
Jena approaches each individual with personalized care, tailoring treatment plans to their specific needs. By addressing all aspects of well-being, she aims for clients to experience not only physical improvements but also mental and emotional well-being after leaving the treatment room.
Having worked at prominent nail salons in both Wellington and Petone, Bridget has decided to branch out and work independently in the 23 Gear Team.
With her own unique space, Bridget can now offer one on one services in a private room, where you can have private conversations, and have her full focus on you.
Bridget is able to offer a range of services, from hard gel nails, SNS dipping, Gel polish, Biab, full manicures and pedicures.
We can also offer certain services simultaneously to your usual nail services - so if you fancy getting your lashes or brows done during your appointment we can absolutely do both services - the ultimate time saver!

She specialises in lived in colour and blondes, copper tones and easy care cuts. Her ethos is to create healthy hair that looks natural and fresh to maintain its colour and shape even as it grows out.
