LED Tweezer Attachment + Instant LED Adhesive

LED Tweezer Attachment + Instant LED Adhesive

$120.00Price

Experience the magic of LED adhesives.

This LED Tweezer attachment is USB rechargeable, and has a button on the side you can press to cure the adhesive.  This system comes with my favourite INSTANT LED adhesive, which cures under a LED light, to give the best retention of your career.

I have spent the last 18 months + working with different lamps - mostly UV/LED lamps, recording my thoughts, researching the safety of them, and working with a LED adhesive manufacturer to create as close to instant as possible curing adhesive that works with LED bulbs, to cure immediately, instantly encapsulating fumes.

Over this time - I have found the following, and will provide references so you can follow up on my research;

The typical UV/LED lights sold cheaply in vast quantities from china operate on a typical frequency of 395nm - so is in the UV-A frequency.

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation occupies the portion of electromagnetic spectrum from 100 to 400 nanometers (nm)

This is not ideal for use in our industry, because anything lower than 400nm is not skin - or eyeball safe, with UV-A frequency causing skin cancer and retinal burn.

Therefore, we should be looking for lamps over 400nm to cure any adhesive that is photoreactive, otherwise we could be causing both ourselves and clients long term damage.

By sourcing lamps above 400nm, we can be assured that wavelength does not affect the heme porphyrins that exist within humans, and secondly do not cause any cellular damage. Unlike UV light, which focuses its destructive power on the molecule’s DNA (which exists in all living entities) 405nm does not affect the cell’s DNA at all.

From EHS.LBL.GOV - led bulbs should not be expected to contribute to injuries such as photokeratitis, photoconjunctivitus and cataracts.

Thermal damage appears with a short time exposure to a very high irradiated level. The exposure needed to produce thermal damage to the retina can not be reached with light emitted by LEDs of current technologies.

This is not the case for UV emitting LEDs, which could cause retina damage.

Furthermore, Dr Jane Smith, a board certified dermatologist, states that LED lights, particularly in the 405nm range, present a significantly lower risk for skin damage compared to UV/LED lamps.

As long as the LED light is 10-15cm away from your clients eye then you have nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately all UV/LED lights cure within a 395nm range, which could present a risk to your clients delicate eye area, as well as risking your own eyesight.

Therefore - all lamps I sell on Designer Lashes will be 405nm in strength or above.

I have tested a LED lamp for the last year l, getting regular eye tests and can confirm, without using protective glasses that my eyesight and health of my own eyes has remained unchanged, and having spoken to my own optometrist he has confirmed the safety of LED lights over 400nm, but suggests for anyone concerned that glasses much like dentists will provide a shield against any irritation the light may cause.  This light itself is not hugely bright or irritating, so you may find glasses unnecessary.  I do not use them personally.

This light system works in conjunction with LED adhesives, which cure immediately when LED light hits them.

This means you no longer have to worry about

- humidity

- stickies

- adhesive fumes

- adhesive curing

Please note this system will not necessarily negate sensitivities as many of the adhesives still contain cyanoacrylate.

This lighting system works by connecting a to your tweezers, and has a button on the side which you press when you wish to cure the lash you have applied.

Once cured, this system will provide you the best retention you will ever experienced in your entire lashing career.

Please note it will only work when used in conjunction with LED adhesives, standard adhesives do not cure via the same method and will not work with this system.

Any queries please ask.
